Christmas Again

Its almost been a year since my return from a tour overseas. I can remember the Christmas day in Afghanistan lie it was yesterday. The Marine Corps Commandant came to our forward out post, and we received some decent food that day. Having done two deployments during the holidays, I realize how important they are. The families worry as we are gone and while we are gone we miss the family. However, with the last year going completely different then wanted or expected this year i just want the holidays to end. This is very selfish , but I am currently trying to get pass that feeling. There is so much worst situations that I could be in. Realizing this is very important in times like this. Hope everyone has a great holiday.

Monday

Today has been a progressive day today. The Marine Corps never seems to fail with having another thing that needs to be done for Recruiting duty. My new work out is going well. The reason I know this, well because i'm in severe pain. The word integrity has been on my mind today. I learned today that it is the most meaningful word for me. It is absoutly the most important thing to become close to me. What it means to me is simple. Don't only tell the truth when you have to, but tell the truth when you know you can get away from that lie. To live life honestly and always try to do right. Live for other people not just yourself. That is integrity.

I have such a beautiful outgoing family. It is great to spend time with them. Hope for a great rest of the weekend. Get to hear Ollie North speak at 5 pm. Flag football tomorrow.

Black Friday

Today I slept till ten. Not sure what I will do today. But, I will work out the food off me today. Had a great day with family yesterday. Plan for a great day today as well.
